Now’s about the time you start asking yourself, “Why didn’t I ever consider being a DJ as a viable career option?”
Especially when you realize that within the past few years, Anton Zaslavski (known behind the turntable as DJ Zedd) purchased not one, but two multimillion-dollar mansions in celebrity-packed Encino, Calif.
As it turns out, two mansions is one too many. Zaslavski recently put the smaller of the two (a mere 14,779 square feet) on the market for $18,999,000.
Celebrity cribs
Records indicate the DJ purchased the six-bedroom, 12-bath manse for $15.2 million in September 2021.
The home has a celebrity pedigree: Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner were the original owners of the then-brand-new build, paying $14.1 million for it.
Two years later, Turner and Jonas listed it for $16,750,000 and sold it for $15.2 million later in the year to Zedd.
The property he is parting with is actually an easy walk from the home he’s opting to keep. Both are situated in a tony enclave, where celebrities such as Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra, Wiz Khalifa, Michael B. Jordan, and Machine Gun Kelly have all called home.

Zedd’s newest nest
For now, Zedd is hanging on to the larger of the two properties, measuring in at 17,500 square feet. He purchased it just last November for $18.4 million.
That modern build is called Odin. It was created by celebrity designer Jae Omar and is inspired by Norse mythology (hence the name of the powerful Norse god who fathered Thor). It features eight bedrooms and 12 baths.
Fancy features
Omar also designed the home Zedd recently put on the market.
The house is ideal for an entertainer—especially one in the music industry. It’s equipped with an office, a professional music studio, and a vocal booth.
For play, enjoy a state-of-the art home theater and an authentic brick pub with a bar, billiard table, humidor, and a cozy corner banquette.
For outdoor recreation, there’s a beautiful pool and spa, a full outdoor kitchen with a barbecue, patios and decks, a putting green, and extensive green lawns. Commanding the center of the backyard is a beautifully lit, majestic oak tree.
The living room, family room, breakfast room, pub, and den all have floor-to-ceiling windows or glass doors overlooking this sumptuously landscaped backyard.
The primary suite offers backyard views through a glass wall that opens to a wraparound terrace. It also features a fireplace, study, massive dual walk-in closets, and a plush primary bath.
Additional luxury features include a gym, sauna, massage room, secondary catering kitchen, wine cellar, raised garden beds, and an additional five bedrooms—all en suite.

Zedd, 34, was born in Russia and raised in Germany. Excelling as a DJ, record producer, and songwriter, he’s best known for hits such as “Clarity” (which earned him a Grammy), “Stay the Night,” and “I Want You to Know” featuring Selena Gomez. Other hits include “Stay,” “The Middle,” and “Break Free” with Ariana Grande. DJs of his stature travel the world, performing at concerts and events, and can make hundreds of thousands, if not millions, per night. Zedd was included on the 2018 Forbes list of the highest-paid DJs.
