Saab has received an 12.9 billion Swedish krona ($1.25 billion) order from Poland for its Carl-Gustaf M4 weapon, ammunition and training equipment.
The Swedish defense company on Monday said that it signed a contract with the Polish defense department for the delivery of the shoulder-fired recoilless rifle, which is expected to be booked before the end of the second quarter of 2024. The contract is over the 2024-27 period, Saab said.
“I am proud of our close relationship with the Polish Armed Forces and that Saab can continue to strengthen Poland’s ground combat capability and national defense,” Chief Executive Micael Johansson said.
