Investing.com – Germany stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the , and sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Frankfurt, the added 0.01%, while the index climbed 0.30%, and the index gained 0.17%.
The best performers of the session on the were Rheinmetall AG (ETR:), which rose 4.42% or 20.20 points to trade at 477.10 at the close. Meanwhile, Dr Ing hc F Porsche AG Preferred (ETR:) added 3.95% or 3.49 points to end at 91.85 and Vonovia SE (ETR:) was up 3.13% or 0.75 points to 24.74 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Adidas AG (ETR:), which fell 2.39% or 4.90 points to trade at 200.10 at the close. Sartorius AG VZO O.N. (ETR:) declined 1.68% or 6.10 points to end at 356.10 and Deutsche Post AG NA O.N. (ETR:) was down 1.55% or 0.61 points to 38.53.
The top performers on the MDAX were Evotec AG O.N. (ETR:) which rose 4.16% to 13.15, Thyssenkrupp AG O.N. (ETR:) which was up 3.67% to settle at 4.83 and Lanxess AG (ETR:) which gained 3.36% to close at 25.19.
The worst performers were HelloFresh SE (ETR:) which was down 7.86% to 6.89 in late trade, Delivery Hero AG (ETR:) which lost 4.22% to settle at 24.51 and Puma SE (ETR:) which was down 3.19% to 40.95 at the close.
The top performers on the TecDAX were Evotec AG O.N. (ETR:) which rose 4.16% to 13.15, Hensoldt Ag (ETR:) which was up 2.69% to settle at 35.12 and Nemetschek AG O.N. (ETR:) which gained 2.51% to close at 85.66.
The worst performers were Nagarro SE (ETR:) which was down 2.17% to 74.35 in late trade, Sartorius AG VZO O.N. (ETR:) which lost 1.68% to settle at 356.10 and Cancom SE O.N. (ETR:) which was down 0.69% to 25.94 at the close.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange by 327 to 286 and 41 ended unchanged.
Shares in Rheinmetall AG (ETR:) rose to all time highs; rising 4.42% or 20.20 to 477.10.
The , which measures the implied volatility of DAX options, was up 1.67% to 12.75.
Gold Futures for April delivery was up 0.08% or 1.65 to $2,163.15 a troy ounce. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in May rose 1.69% or 1.36 to hit $81.94 a barrel, while the May Brent oil contract rose 1.54% or 1.31 to trade at $86.65 a barrel.
EUR/USD was unchanged 0.13% to 1.09, while EUR/GBP unchanged 0.12% to 0.85.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.15% at 103.22.
